One platform for your whole services firm
Accounting, tax, audit, payroll and advisory, each with its own team and rates, on one platform. See which engagements make you money and what work is still unbilled.
You define the services
You create your own services, with sub-services and tasks, and the platform follows the way you work. Each service has its own team and rate card, all on the same data model. The examples below are only a starting point.
A few examples. You can add any service you deliver:
Accounting
Bookkeeping, trial balances and recurring reporting.
Tax
Tax filings, advice and representation.
Audit
Audit and assurance engagements.
Advisory
Business advisory, transactions, valuations.
Payroll
Payroll and personnel administration.
Any service can use any billing model: retainer, time and materials or fixed price. You choose the model for each client and each engagement.
Several services at once, each with its own rules
Each service in its own tool
Accounting in one program, audit in Excel, advisory over email. Nowhere shows you the whole firm.
You don’t know what’s profitable
Without hours logged per client, the margin on each service and client stays a guess.
People across several services
The same person works on both audit and advisory. Without a shared view, they end up overbooked and you find out late.
Mixed billing models
One client on a retainer, another on a fixed fee, another by the hour, and in spreadsheets it all blurs together.
You don’t know what’s billable
Work in progress lives in each coordinator’s head, not in one place where you can see what’s billable.
Several offices, one firm
Different offices and departments, each with its own people and clients. You need the same picture across all of them.
A complex firm on one data model
Profitability on every engagement
Set the cost of logged hours, at standard cost, against what you invoiced and you get the margin on every engagement, with the client in view and a service-line filter. You see plainly which contracts make you money and which cost you.
Decisions made on numbersA retainer with included hours, and the overage in plain sight
You set up the retainer with its included hours. Hours used and hours beyond the allowance show on every contract and in work in progress. The overage, priced at the agreed rate, goes on the invoice instead of being quietly absorbed.
No overage gets lostPlan people across all your services
Book people across different services by their real availability: capacity minus leave and other engagements. When you borrow someone from another service, their manager approves.
Overbooking shows up before the plan goes out See the moduleEvery engagement on the right model
You’re not tied to one model. You choose it for each client and each engagement.
| Model | How it works | Good when |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly / quarterly retainer | A fixed amount per period, with included hours. Overage and unused hours are handled separately. | recurring relationship, predictable monthly volume |
| Time & materials by the hour | You bill the hours worked at the service line’s rate, as often as you choose. | variable effort, on-demand work |
| Fixed price | A set price, billed in scheduled instalments (an amount or a percentage) on the agreed dates. | defined scope, clear deliverable |
The quarterly review
You open profitability, filter on the audit line and see audit engagements running at a much lower margin than advisory. You drill into the contracts: one accounting retainer is in the red. The client keeps going over the included hours, but nobody has billed the overage.
Now you have the data. You renegotiate that client’s retainer on the real volume, move two people from audit to advisory, where the demand is, and bill the overage absorbed over the past months.
None of it comes from a spreadsheet kept by hand. It comes from the whole firm working on one data model.
